Gooseberry Pie Fair History Exhibition
Running from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.  celebrating many facets of the landscape and history of Galmpton & Churston Ferrers over 1000 years. The entire Village Hall will be utilized for the Exhibition this year.

SUNDAY 2nd OCTOBER
Guided Walk of Jetty Marsh Area of Newton Abbot led by John R.
4 Miles max, Meet SX869717 River bank adjacent cycle bridge - Ford Rd.
Start 10 a.m. or 9.15 a.m. at Manor Inn, Galmpton. Morning only walk         Book place with John Risdon in advance.

FRIDAY 14th OCTOBER
Talk   "The Greenway Frieze" by Alan Forster
Galmpton Village Institute  7.30 p.m.

FRIDAY 18th NOVEMBER
Talk  "Peter, the Fisherman's Church, Brixham & Chauncy Maples"
            by Gordon Partridge
Galmpton Village Institute  7.30 p.m.

FRIDAY 25th NOVEMBER
Visit to, and Guided Tour of Kent's Cavern, led by Alan Salsbury
Followed by Devonshire cream tea - all inclusive price £10.
Meet 2 p.m. at the Caves - booking essential through John Risdon.

Talk  "Vigilance Channel Crossing - A personal Account"
