ANNUAL EVENTS

Every year local residents become involved in these traditional village events and everyone is welcome to join in!

A new decade and the ninth year of Galmpton Floral Days!

Who would have thought in June 2001 that the modest one-off event would develop into the keenly anticipated TWO full days, now well established as June and September dates on the Galmpton village annual calendar!
Whilst your new 2010 diaries are pristine, underline the following in RED

OPEN GARDENS DAY       Sunday 6th June

SKILLS DAY                               Sunday 5th September

then, whilst you are at it, make a note to consider being actively involved!
How about joining the enthusiastic group who ‘open their gardens’?
How about creating a Scarecrow for
Open Gardens Day?
How about exhibiting at one or, even better, ALL the Skills Day shows?

Jill Memery the overall Co-ordinator for both Galmpton Floral Days fends general queries, comments, or suggestions. She also deals with specific matters related to Skills Day and is keen to hear from further Handicraft or Rural Skills Demonstrators on memerys@talktalk.net.

Maggie Goldsmith oversees the organisation of Open Gardens Day.
Contact her on general matters and Scarecrows.

Tony & Priscilla Hannam are first call regarding ‘Opening Your Garden’.
Contact them for more details and open garden offers.
